ADX Racing Team 3-Tiered Scholarship Program
​
​The ADX Racing Team is offering a comprehensive 3-tiered scholarship program for aspiring racers aiming to compete in the MSUK events hosted at Rye House. This program aims to identify and nurture talented individuals, providing them with the opportunity to experience the world of professional owner-kart racing. ​The final prize will be a full season of racing at the Rye House MSUK with all karting expenses covered worth £25.000, with a brand new kart included.2nd place will be awarded a half-season of racing at the Rye house MSUK with all karting expenses covered worth £12.500 kart not included.3rd place will be awarded 1 race at the Rye House MSUK with all karting expenses covered, kart included.

STAGE 1
Sign up! To enter the Program, participants have the opportunity to take advantage of our early bird price of £69.00 if registered by the 1st of December. After this date, the entry fee will be the full price of £99.00 Until the 1st of January, when registration closes. This fee covers administrative costs and helps support the scholarship program. You will receive a welcome pack with your application containing many goodies from the ADX racing team. There are limited spaces available. The entries are on a first come first served basis so get booking.
SUBMIT YOUR LAP TIMES
Participants have until January 1st, 2024 to submit their best lap times at their home track with owner/rental/indoor/outdoor karts. New lap times are required. If not available please submit 3 lap times within the last 6 months. Lap times will be corroborated with track records to determine eligibility for the second stage. This stage is open to racers of all levels and backgrounds, welcoming both newcomers and experienced racers with a minimum of 6 months experience. Lap times will be reviewed and compared to track records, and the top performers will advance to the next stage. We take into account age and weight. The top participants from this stage will be notified via email and, when accepted will be invited to Rye House to take part in stage 2. ​​

STAGE 2
Full Day of Driving on an exclusive JCB Powered KartTo enter the second stage £300.00 must be paid on receiving your confirmation of eligibility to the next round. Participants may come to do practice sessions before Stage 2 by booking through ADX karting experience. Your chance to try the new and unique JCB-powered karts. Participants in this stage will enjoy a full day of driving on a high-performance Race-tuned kart powered by JCB engines at Rye House. The JCB Kart is an exclusive kart available only to ADX Karting therefore never been used before this scholarship. There will also be physical tests and a multiple-choice questionnaire. Winners will be determined based on their driving ability, physical fitness, and compatibility with the ADX Racing Team's mission and values. Successful participants from this tier will be eligible to move to stage 3.

​​STAGE 3
A full day of Rotax Go Kart Driving The third stage is free of charge and is open to the top 10 lucky drivers selected from Stage 2. Participants will have the opportunity to drive fully race-prepared Rotax go-karts. ( depending on age ) Among the 10 participants in this stage, one will be named the overall winner of the ADX Racing Team scholarship program, earning recognition, support, and a path to join the ADX Racing Team with a Brm Racing kart. Second place will receive half a season paid for by the team (you will need to supply your own kart). Third place will receive one fully funded MSUK race weekend with the ADX racing team at Rye House. The final outcome will be determined by Lap Times, Physical capabilities, mental approach to racing, and attitude.​

Stage 3 is a full day of Rotax/Honda cadets Kart driving and is free of charge. It is open to the top 10 skilled drivers selected from Stage 2. Participants in Stage 3 will have the opportunity to drive fully race-prepared Rotax or Honda cadet karts.

12. Will Racing equipment be provided on stages 2 & 3?
You will be required to have your own helmet and karting suit to participate in stage 2.
We can provide some racewear but is not a guarantee.

13. Will I have the opportunity to switch my kart if I am not happy with it on stage 2?
If on the day you are not happy with your kart's performance a member of the ADX Racing team will test your kart to check performance and determine if a second kart will be provided.

14. What happens if it rains?
Rain and wet weather conditions are a regular occurrence with owner driving as all owner driving takes place on outdoor circuits. The rain will not stop the day. We will be assessing drivers' capabilities in wet or dry conditions in accordance with a test kart which will be sent out during the day to determine a delta lap time.
​15. Which kart will I be driving?
The Kart that will be assigned on the day to you will be determined by your age.
8 - 12 year olds - Cadet kart
13 -15 year olds - Junior kart
16 and up - Senior karts
16. What if I am not the fastest?
Lap times are not the only way that we will be assessing a driver, we will also be looking at the characteristics of the driver and their physical capabilities. These will be assessed throughout the day with physical exercises and by the multiple choice questionnaire.
